The Zero-Drop Testing Machine is designed to assess the impact on packages during actual transportation and handling processes. It evaluates the impact resistance of packaging and the rationality of its design during transit.
Primarily used for drop testing of larger packages, the Zero-Drop Testing Machine features a specimen support platform capable of rapid downward movement. The tested item is balanced and positioned according to test requirements (face, edge, or corner tests). During the test, the support platform moves downward at high speed, detaching from the specimen. The support platform reaches the base plate before the tested item, embedding itself into the base plate under the action of a highly efficient hydraulic buffer.
From a theoretical perspective, the Zero-Drop Testing Machine allows drop tests from a height range starting at zero. The drop height is set based on test requirements, and the machine automatically performs the drop test at the preset height.
