PRODUCT DETAILS

Test Methods:

  1. GB/T 20854-2007 Dry and Wet Salt Spray Test
  2. ISO 14993-2001 Dry and Wet Salt Spray Test

Testing Parameters:

  • Spray Amount:
    The spray tower is set in the center of the chamber to ensure uniform fog distribution. The spray amount is adjustable to 1-2 ml/80 cm²/hr, with the average value taken over a 16-hour period.

  • Pressure Pot Temperature:

    • Saltwater Test Method (NSS ACSS): 7°C ± 1°C
    • Corrosion Test Method (CASS): 63°C ± 1°C
  • Saltwater Solution:

    • Sodium chloride solution concentration is 5%
    • For the CASS test, 0.26 grams of vaporized copper (CuCl₂·2H₂O) is added per liter of sodium chloride solution.
  • pH Value (Acidity/Alkalinity):

    • 6.5~7.2 for neutral salt spray
    • 3.0~3.2 for the copper accelerated salt spray
  • Air Pressure for Atomization:
    1.00 ± 0.01 kgf/cm²

Material and Components:

  • Cabinet:
    The inner and outer walls of the cabinet are made from 5mm imported grey-white corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant PVC board, which can withstand temperatures up to 85°C.

  • Base Plate:
    The base plate is made of 8mm imported grey-white corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant PVC board, also capable of withstanding temperatures up to 85°C.

  • Cover:
    The cover is made from 5mm imported grey-white corrosion-resistant, impact-resistant PVC board, and features an acrylic window for easy observation. It also has an aesthetically pleasing design.

  • Frame/Base:
    The frame is constructed from SECC channel steel with a spray paint finish, featuring four rolling wheels for easy mobility, ensuring both stability and aesthetic appeal.

  • Support Rack:
    The support rack is made of 410mm fiberglass rods, offering high corrosion resistance. It is designed with a plastic-steel V-shaped rack and fiber rods placed at an angle of 15° to 30° to ensure proper placement of test items.

  • Test Chamber Rack:
    The rack inside the test chamber adopts a flat graduated rack with uniform exposure on all four sides, ensuring even fogging. It can hold a large number of test specimens.

  • Pressure Pot:
    The pressure pot is made of 2.0mm SUS304 stainless steel, with seamless construction for improved durability and corrosion resistance.

  • Heating Element:
    The heating is provided by titanium alloy electric heating tubes, which offer excellent corrosion resistance and a longer service life, typically 3-5 years longer than ordinary stainless steel heating elements.
