Product Overview
This machine is used to test office chairs by placing an unloaded chair on a horizontal work surface. The chair is pushed or pulled over a distance of 550mm at a speed of 50mm/s. A force is applied 200mm above the work surface, and the required force to push or pull the chair is recorded. The rolling/sliding resistance is measured, with the average resistance calculated over a range of 250mm to 500mm.
